Knowsley Flower Show
Sunday, 3 August 2025
Court Hey Park, Huyton
The much-loved Knowsley Flower Show returns on Sunday 3 August for its 27th year, and the show committee are looking for new growers to take part in the show.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a green-fingered novice the committee urge you to make the most of the changing seasons and dig in to growing something for this year’s Flower Show.
There are more than 100 classes open to enter, showcasing herbs, vegetables, floral art, pot plants and of course flowers, so whether you grow roses or beetroot, fuchsias or potatoes, there is a class for you.
And it’s not just flowers, plants and vegetables that can be entered into the show, there are craft categories, baking and jam-making, and even a series of children’s classes which cover photography, art and more!
Christine Yates Knowsley Flower Show Secretary said:
“We are excited to welcome visitors back to Court Hey Park again this year for the 27th Knowsley Flower Show.
The theme of this year’s show is Sculpture, with all its many features to enhance our gardens, and provide focus points to draw the eye and highlight the beauty of the flowers in the garden.
Last year we re-introduced a Floral Art class, which lends itself perfectly to our theme so I for one can’t wait to see the creative entries we get this year.
The Flower show is open to all ages and abilities and if you are new to gardening but would like to take part, contact the Flower Show Committee Secretary, Christine Yates, for hints and tips.”

Growing for the show doesn’t have to be difficult. If you’re completely new to gardening you can pick up a packet of seeds or bulbs, plant them in some soil and see what appears!
